A young Quebec company with a simple idea: give local businesses one more employee, without growing the team.
The winter it clicked
Last winter, I was reading a restaurant's reviews. Out of plain curiosity, the way everyone does before booking a table. And I couldn't believe what I was seeing: the same comment, from a dozen different customers, spread over months. Everybody was saying the same thing.
And the owner wasn't fixing any of it. Not because he didn't care. Just because between service, orders and everything else, nobody had the time to really read all that, let alone act on it.
That's when it hit me: this business was losing customers on a loop, and the answer was written in plain sight in front of him. What he was missing was someone to read it, connect the dots, and tell him what kept coming back.
“Boss, here's what keeps coming up.”
That's what I built with Meerkly. An employee who reads every review, replies in your tone, answers your phone around the clock, and every morning tells you what he noticed. Not one more to-do list.
One rule I set for myself: never any homework for you. He does the work, you approve with one click.
